Bristol Sonics Rugby League

Bristol Sonics are a rugby league club based in Bristol in the South West of England.

The Sonics’ first team plays in Rugby League’s Southern Conference competition, having previously played in the National Conference League Division 3 and the now defunct Rugby League Conference (Midlands Premier Division). Bristol Sonics A play in the RLC West of England.

The Sonics also run two social touch rugby teams, the Subsonics,and a number of Junior sides around Bristol and South Gloucestershire.

Gloucestershire Cricket

Gloucestershire Cricket is one of the 18 first class County Cricket Clubs in the UK. They were established in 1870, with WG Grace a founding member, one of the most famous and influential cricketers in history.

The Club has a strong focus on developing young cricketers with many of the current first team developed through the Gloucestershire Cricket Academy. Chris Dent, David Payne, Liam Norwell, Jack Taylor, Graeme McCarter, Craig Miles, Matt Taylor, Miles Hammond and Cameron Herring in the 2014 first team squad have all graduated from the Academy.

A major emphasis is placed on developing relationships with the local community. Their close partner, Gloucestershire Cricket Board, is responsible for the development of recreational cricket across Bristol and Gloucestershire and this includes community programmes in hundreds of schools and clubs each year. Gloucestershire Cricket also runs community activities at our ground in Bristol and at the Brewin Dolphin Cheltenham Cricket festival each summer.

Their Mission: “ To sustain, develop and grow Gloucestershire County Cricket Club in order to be successful in the enterprise of cricket”.

Old Bristolians Rugby Club

Old Bristolians RFC are a club based in Failand, Bristol. Originally born out of the old boys of Bristol Grammar School, the club is a friendly and open club for all those who wish to play - from U5's through to 3 senior sides and a well established Vets team. Over 350 children are registered to play for Old Bristolians ever expanding junior section. 

Thornbury Golf Centre

Thornbury Golf Centre is a beautiful Bristol pay-and-play golf course, situated 10 minutes from Junction 16 of the M5. Thornbury offers two beautiful and challenging courses: the 6300-yard Marlwood High Course and the 18-hole par 3 Low Course, both of which are maintained with the utmost care by our dedicated grounds team. Here at Thornbury we also offer a 25-bay floodlit driving range a well-stocked golf shop, two function rooms and an 11-bedroom lodge. Thornbury Golf Centre is a fantastic venue for golfers, and its function and dining facilities offer something for everyone - making Thornbury the ideal destination for corporate events, family occasions, weddings or even just a round of golf!
