We know that some learners are not yet at a point where college, apprenticeships or full-time work meet their needs. Our Beyond 16 programme is a bespoke blend of experiences, accreditation and qualifications which can be balanced and targeted to where the young person is best placed to begin. These can be extended and added to over the course of the year in line with their aspirations and confidence. The aim is to help them be ready for the next step at the end of the year; whatever that may be.

Experiences may be based around mentoring, travel-training, volunteering, leadership and personal development

Accreditations are usually based around vocational ASDAN short courses which enable young people to gain confidence at working within a learning structure and based on their interests and skills
