Specialist support that helps young people re-engage, build confidence, and achieve
Our core service. Each young person is matched with a dedicated mentor who works with them one-to-one. Sessions typically run in two 3-hour blocks each day — morning (9:00–12:00) and afternoon (12:30–15:30). Mentors collect young people from home, work on practical projects, and build the trusting relationships that make real change possible. Sessions are tailored to each young person's needs, goals, and interests.
We deliver accredited learning programmes linked to ASDAN qualifications. Young people work toward recognised certificates while developing practical skills in areas like social awareness, resilience, creative thinking, ICT, and empathy. These qualifications can directly contribute to a young person's future opportunities and are a key part of our mentoring approach.
We provide targeted academic tutoring for young people who need additional support with their education. Whether catching up on missed learning, preparing for exams, or building core skills in literacy and numeracy, our tutors work alongside our mentors to give young people the academic foundation they need.
For young people aged 16+ who are transitioning out of formal education, we offer dedicated post-16 support. This programme helps young people take their next step — whether that's further education, training, an apprenticeship, or employment. We focus on the life skills, confidence, and practical support that make that transition successful.
When school is out, routine and progress don't have to stop. We run structured mentoring sessions during the school holidays, keeping young people engaged, supported, and moving forward with their goals. Holiday provision offers the same one-to-one approach as our term-time sessions, giving continuity for young people and reassurance for families and schools.
